In conjunction with civil engineering expertise, Heilig & Partners can assess infrastructure to ascertain the potential impacts of varying levels of vibration on the integrity or serviceability of the infrastructure.

The source of the vibration may be blasting or mechanically induced (piling, hydraulic hammering, TBM, road header, etc).

Unlike conventional building condition reports, Heilig & Partners also advise as to whether adjustments to the construction methods may be necessary based upon the type and condition of the infrastructure, the proximity of the works and the type of works being undertaken.

Comment as the expected impact on the building occupants or equipment within the building can also be included in the technical condition assessment.

Recommendations for monitoring requirements (vibration, back to base, early warning systems etc.) are also included as part of the technical assessment.
